Maharishi Institute of Management - Bhopal

Maharishi Institute of Management Bhopal is situated in Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence campus, situated in the heart of India, the beautiful city of lakes––Bhopal–the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal is well connected by Road, Train and Air. New highways under construction from North to South and East to West are passing through Bhopal.

Bhopal campus is about 10 kilo-meters from Bhopal center on a 50 acre piece of beautiful lush green property full of gardens and fountains in an unpolluted serene and peaceful atmosphere. The campus is surrounded by scenic and pictorial view providing a very suitable and nourishing environment for the development of student managers. This newly constructed campus is built according to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda -- Vastu Vidya -- to ensure a successful and productive learning environment in harmony with Natural Law, which promotes the wholesome development of the student's personality -- physical, intellectual, and creative. Seven out of 9 beautiful large buildings with Vedic arches and domes are complete and create an atmosphere describe as "temple of knowledge by Maharishi Ji".  

Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence campus is a unique education campus, which is planned to have students varying from Nursery to Ph.D. level. A secondary school on CBSE course pattern is already running and BBA and BCA courses have been started from 2001 academic session. The spacious hostel rooms and dining halls can comfortably accommodate up to 1000 students. Separate hostel campuses for boys and girls are available with 24 hours security arrangements. There are large classrooms and numerous seminar and conference rooms. The Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence campus is fully air-conditioned.

Excellent outdoor sports facilities are available and indoor sports facilities including swimming pool and most modern fully equipped gymnasium and health fitness center is under construction. Multi functional auditorium with capacity of 1000 seats is also under construction.

Library

The library is being stocked with a wide range of management and information technology literature; this will be one of the focal points of the Institute. An excellent selection of Indian and foreign journals and periodicals is subscribed in functional and general areas to maintain up-to-date exposure. Spacious reading hall is available to accommodate large number of students. The library has subscribed to almost all the major newspapers, magazines, and periodicals for keeping the students well informed about the business environment worldwide. The Institute is also in the process of acquiring access to a virtual library, which will make instantly available to students a vast collection of business journals from around the world.

Syndicate Room and Seminar Halls

These will be some of the most dynamic and interactive facilities on the campus with the latest audio and video conferencing facilities. Regular guest lectures and industrial seminars will be organised by the students in the Seminar Hall, which will have overhead, slide and video projectors with large screens and other audio-visual equipment. These facilities will be utilised for the group discussions and presentations of the students and also for the two-way live video-conferencing with the international faculty, other branches of Maharishi Institute of Management and business leaders around the world.

Computer Centre

A computer lab with 60 terminals connected through LAN (Local Area Network) is established. The computers will have a variety of the latest management and user-friendly packages, including office productivity suites, plus compilers and Database Management software packages.

Maharishi Institute of Management Bhopal is connected with high-bandwidth ISDN Internet facility, which enables students to access the latest state-of-the-art business information. It also plays a vital role in coordinating with the international professors, business leaders and research scholars. Each student will have access to e-mail through Internet.
