The Transcendental Meditation® Technique


The key technology of Maharishi Corporate Development Program is Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation (TM) - a simple, natural, effortless procedure practiced for 15-20 minutes in the morning and evening while sitting comfortably with the eyes closed. As the body becomes deeply rested and relaxed, the mind transcends all mental activity to experience the simplest form of awareness, Transcendental Consciousness or pure consciousness, the mind's full creative potential, the inner Self.



The experience of Transcendental Consciousness develops one's latent creative potential while dissolving accumulated stress and fatigue through the deep rest gained during the practice. Course Outline

The core of the Maharishi Corporate Development Programme (MCDP) consists of five sessions, two hours daily, during which trainees learn Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation (TM) Technique. Attendance at all these five sessions is the basic requirement of participation in MCDP.

Day 1:   Seminar 1: Introduction and preparation for learning Transcendental Meditation

Day 2:   Personal Instruction in Transcendental Meditation

Day 3:   Seminar 2: Understanding correct practice and enjoying benefits

Day 4:   Seminar 3: Understanding how stress is eliminated

Day 5:   Seminar 4: Vision of the goal-higher states of consciousness

After these five days, course participants have adequate practical experience and a clear intellectual understanding of Transcendental Meditation and are already enjoying many benefits.

Optional Advanced Seminars : Following the 5-day program of instruction in Transcendental Meditation, six monthly advanced seminars (including video & color OHP presentations) ensure that each individual-and the company as a whole-gains maximum:
